After a two year appointment and following his announcement to step down as President, Care after Combat would like to take this opportunity to thank General Sir Freddie Viggers KCB, CMG, MBE, DL for his exemplary hard work and commitment towards the continuing development of the Charity.
Over the past two years, his stewardship has been characterised by innovative ideas, strategic thinking and, most valuable, his continuing efforts to increase the visibility of veterans involved in the criminal justice system. The resulting recognition has become an asset to Care after Combat together with the relationships he has fostered with our partners and friends.
By all measures, Sir Freddie has been a proactive President, never someone who was prepared to sit on his hands. His energy and devotion to the role will be difficult to match, and he leaves Care after Combat a far better organization and on a strong footing for those will follow.
It is our great pleasure on behalf of the Chairman, CEO and Trustees plus all staff members to thank you for your dedication and the great job you have accomplished in your two-year term as President, and wish you all the very best in your future endeavours and we look forward to your ongoing involvement in Care after Combat.
